In recent years, SOLID Translation Services has completed a number of large (80,000 to 400,000+ words) Russian to English and English to Russian translation projects in international arbitration, immigration, social and health care, athletic training machines, oil and gas equipment, X-ray medical equipment, and software localization serving small, big and internationally known businesses. We work with Microsoft Office suite, Trados, Passolo, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, HTML applications and other industry-standard software packages.
SOLID Translation Services was established in Calgary in 2004 and is managed by Evgeny Zilberov, a professional legal translator (English to Russian, Russian to English) and native speaker of Russian language.
Before turning his talents and expertise entirely to specialized language services, Evgeny practiced law in Russia for a total of eight years as an Attorney-at-Law (member of the bar association) and Certified Paralegal. His clients included major international corporations, foreign embassies, and city governments.
Along with his background in law, Evgeny holds a graduate degree in technical legal translation from the top-ranked Russian school. He has been providing top-quality English to Russian and Russian to English language services to governments and private sector customers in the USA, Canada, Russia and the Netherlands since 1995. Evgeny Zilberov is an accredited active member of the Union of Translators of Russia (UTR)* and an associate member of the American Translators Association (ATA).*
